Apple Crisp

My Mother-in-Law brought us back some Apples from the mountains so I decided to come up with an Apple Crisp recipe.

Its very Similar to my Peach Crisp Recipe with just a few changes.

I’m sure you can use canned apples for this recipe but nothing is better than homemade in my opinion. So just take the extra 5 - 10 minutes to peel and cut up your apples…It’s worth it!

I’m using Fuji apples because they’re our favorite, however you can also use Granny Smith. Just make sure that you use an Apple that has a firm center vs. a soft one, otherwise you will have applesauce.

Peel apples using a knife then chop into bite size pieces.

To make cutting easier, I just stand the Apple up and cut it on all four sides and then chop using a butcher knife.
