A week in Review 04.02.21
Easter week has been wonderful and I am feeling tremendously blessed. Here is a little snippet of how our week went, but to get an even closer glimpse, be sure to watch the video below.
I started painting again… check out my latest piece on the video. I’m saving this one for me since I’m working on hanging some of my art in the Little Women room.
Hi my name is Tammy and I’m addicted to Instacart. I started using it last year (simply out of convenience and not because of Covid) and I haven’t stopped since. It is a huge time saver for me and I also can make sure I don’t forget anything since I’m filling my grocery cart in the comfort of my own home. It’s also a money saver since I don’t overbuy and I also can see how much I spend on groceries each month. You can go HERE and check it out in case you’ve never tried it.
I decided to have a Maundy Thursday meal at the house. If you aren’t sure what that is then be sure to go HERE where it explains the meaning. Basically we ate fruits, bread, olives and lamb (we cheated and got gyro meat from Arby’s) and cheese.
We washed each other’s feet as a symbol of servitude. Our friends were great and took part in the foot washing. It was quite comical when the guys washed each other’s feet and I would say overall it was a great experience and a great reminder to be humble and show Gods love through acts of service. I definitely would like to carry on the tradition next year… this was kind of a trial run.
We went bike riding in another of our favorite towns Thomasville, Ga. this weekend. We visited my all time favorite house there and got to meet the owner. He invited us to supper the next time we come back and we exchanged numbers. I’m not gonna lie… I wanted to jump up and down when he invited us, but I contained myself. He has lived there since he was four and has basically done the majority of the preservation on the home himself. I loved hearing the history of this house and I can’t wait to see the inside!
Easter was wonderful and I finally got a recent pic with all my babies. We had a wonderful lunch at my In-laws and then my brother Mikey and my Mom came over to our house and had dessert.
The Easter Bunny still hid the eggs for Jack Easter morning and even left him a prize at the end. Its a family tradition and now he goes to Colli’s house and leaves eggs with clues to find his prize.
Colli found all the Eggs at the Easter egg hunt at Eme’s house.
Then we went on a golf cart ride and Colli picked flowers for his Mommy.
I pray you all had a wonderful Easter with your family or friends. I also pray that you may experience God in a way that brings you closer to him. I have been fortunate enough to feel his presence and see him do miraculous things and I’ll never take that for granted.
