Best Non-Toxic Deodorant
For the last year I have been on a quest to find the best Aluminum, phthalate and Paraben Free Deodorant.

Its important for me to mention that I am a FLORIDIAN, so that you understand I have truly put these products to the test (Heat and Humidity).
As I began trying out different products that did not contain Aluminum, Paraben or Phthalates, I didn’t realize I should also be concerned about Fragrance.
So after researching the hazards of fragrance on an ingredient list via the EWG, I ended up trying a few from their verified list.
Pacifica Deodorant was one of the ones that actually worked for odor control and didn’t need to be reapplied. However, it’s important to note that this is not one of the EWG Verified deodorants because the fragrance ingredient was questionable.
I reached out to the Pacifica company and this is what they said:
”Thank you for reaching out to us. We list parfum on our ingredient decks because we follow the global standards for ingredient listings called INCI. Parfum, natural or synthetic, is the legal listing for a blend of fragrance chemicals, natural or otherwise. We use a blend of essential oils, absolutes, fragrant extracts, and naturally derived fragrance and flavor materials. All of our fragrances and flavors are phthalate-free and do not contain any ingredients that do not meet our internal ingredient standards or our internal banned list which is about 1500 ingredients. Our fragrances are 100% vegan and are not tested on animals.”
I was still a bit confused and I guess that’s why EWG hasn’t given their products the certification ??
Anyway, if Fragrance isn’t an issue for you, than this is one worked pretty good . If you want one that met all my requirements and worked amazing See Below.
I have tried many deodorants (see first photo) including ones not pictured, and the NATIVE DEODORANT was hands down the best!
Not only did this particular one (lavender and Rose) get a one on EWG (not all Native scents score the same so be sure to check) but it also goes on so smooth unlike the others I tested.
I also notice that when my armpits began to sweat… the lovely lavender scent became more intense (much better than the alternative 😉).
Unfortunately, most of these “natural” deodorants are a bit pricier than the regular ones. However, they seem to last a long time and quite honestly I will pay the extra if it means better health for me and my family.
Hopefully this has helped you avoid having to purchase dozens of natural deodorants like I did. I’m now off to find the best Non toxic Dish Soap next.
