I’m guessing that most of you already have all your Christmas decor packed and put away by now. I, however, have just started working on taking down our decorations.

Most years I can’t wait to get rid of all the clutter of Christmas, but this year I have wanted to hang on to it a little longer.

So I decided to leave all the greenery around and just put away all the “Christmasy” items.

I’ll admit that my Christmas tree is still up in the Family room, but I am working on taking it down by next week.

I love the twinkle and glow of the lights of the tree, which is why I think I’m taking my time on getting it put away. I’ve decided to leave some of my fairy lights around on the greenery so I can still have the ambiance they give.

I am also leaving the little decorative trees all around so it gives the house a wintery and cozy feel.

I also left this beautiful handmade stocking hanging on the bed in the “Little Women Room”. My friend Grace made it for me for my Birthday and I love looking at it.
