In my journey to become healthier I have been slowly changing products I use daily to less Non-Toxic ones.
I figured for the best and least expensive approach in doing so, I would purchase two to three EWG verified affordable products from each category (body wash, foundation, food etc.) on the EWG App and try them out.
In hopes to help others and save you money, I decided to share my own results here and on my Instagram @denmarkcottage.

Obviously we all have different skin types and your results may vary from mine, however, I still thought it would be helpful to share the results with you.

Its important to note that I have combination to oily skin that tends to be slightly sensitive. Todd (hubs) has combination to dry skin. We are also using the body wash to shave with.**

Our first contender:

everyone 3 in 1 Soap

PROS:

• Great price for the amount you get. I purchased two 32 ounce bottles for under $20.

• Makes a great bubble bath for the kids.

• Not only is it a body wash and bubble bath, but you can also use it as a shampoo.

• They do not test on animals. You can read more about the company HERE.

CONS:

• The orange scent was very unpleasant and smelled a bit moldy. However, I purchased the lavender and vanilla scent and it was much better.

• After each use my skin was a bit itchy in some areas, however Todd has had no issues with it and is currently still using it.

**I give this one an 8 out of 10

NEXT UP: ATTITUDE SUPER LEAVES BODY WASH

PROS:

• The orange scent is amazing and lingered on my skin after showering.

• Made my skin feel soft and smooth.

• Great to shave with.

• Company does not test on animals. Read more about the company HERE.

CONS:

• I did not like the fact that this container didn’t have a pump which made it difficult to pour onto the rag without waste. I did find a 32 ounce pump version which I will purchase instead.

• Cost of 32 ounce size is 20 cent more per ounce than the Everyone Body Wash.

• Only a body wash and not a Shampoo like the others.

**I give this one a 9 out of 10

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: HONEST SHAMPOO AND BODY WASH

PROS:

• The Lavendar scent was lovely and lingered on my skin after showering.

• Made my skin soft and smooth.

• Great to shave with.

• Love that it is a shampoo and body wash.

AND THE WINNER IS:

I was quite impressed with all of these body washes considering they are Non-Toxic. It just goes to show you that all those chemicals aren’t necessary, and that “clean” products can work just as great!

My top two picks for Non-Toxic body wash were HONEST SHAMPOO AND BODY WASH and ATTITUDE BODY WASH However, I would like to mention that I will continue to purchase EVERYONE 3 in 1 SOAP for the kids and my hubby.
