I’ve been wanting to get a small game table and chairs for our family room for some time now.
I finally found the perfect table and I love how it looks in our space.

I originally saw this round table on lizmarieblog.com and knew that it would be the perfect fit. Todd and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to assemble and the quality of the wood.

I still haven’t stained it yet but I’m kinda liking the color so I might just put a protective finish on it.

I found the perfect brass lamp that gives it just the right amount of light to play games or assemble puzzles under.

I found the perfect chairs also on Home Depot and I love that they are tufted and have a linen look. I plan on spraying them down good with scotchgard to protect them and adding a pad to the seat.
My son Jackson loves chess and he’s been teaching us how to play. I have a few other wooden game sets in the baskets on the shelf. I purchased them last Christmas from TJMaxx.

I love that this little space is a spot we can spend time together as a family but can also be used as extra seating for our dinner guests etc.
