Month in Review

It’s been a bit since I’ve shared here on the blog (see why below). So instead of a Week in Review… I’m sharing what the month of July looked like for us.

First Up… we celebrated my Brother Michaels (AKA: Chef Meatball) 39th Birthday . He cooked his favorite spaghetti and meatballs and made Strawberry Salad.
I cannot believe he will be 40 years old next year!! I remember when I use to pretend he was my baby doll and dress him up.

My first Hydrangea bloom!! I’m so excited that I finally have hydrangeas in the garden.

Colli and I picked the last of the Collard greens before I yanked them. He was so happy to help me do this… I love how proud he is of himself when he helps me.

We went to Nashville, TN for Jacks graduation trip from his Grandparents.

One of the highlights of the trip was visiting The Johnny Cash Museum and listening to live music in his restaurant next door.

We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort which was beautiful but the service was subpar due to lack of staff.
Jack wanted to go to the Nashville Zoo and the Parthenon so that’s what we did. I’m not used to walking with all the hills , so the zoo visit was quite a workout in the heat.

I really enjoyed the art exhibits in the Downstairs of the Parthenon.

We celebrated Colli’s fifth Birthday with a large water slide and jump house in the back yard. Jack and His girlfriend Zoey were kind enough to entertain him for hours and he loved all his Super Hero presents.

We have been so busy getting ready for our first Halloween Drive-Thru event that I have little time for anything else. I’ve had a website to build, marketing material to design and order, help with set design and builds, ordering of supplies, coordinating of social Media and cast members and the list goes on and on. We are excited for this adventure but it’s definitely a lot of work.

Hope you are doing well and as always…thanks for stopping by the Blog to say Hello… I so appreciate you!
Hugs!
❤️
